The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued Bosnia and Herzegovina convertible mark coins in 7 different denominations, including this 50 Feninga Bosnian Convertible Mark coin. They are part of the Bosnia and Herzegovina convertible mark coins series. The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina started issuing these 0.5 Bosnia and Herzegovina convertible mark coins in 1998. They are currently still in circulation.
The copper-plated 50 feninga, fenings or pfenigs coin from Bosnia-Herzegovina has the denomination shown over a map of the country. The 50 feninga coin is the equivalent of half a mark. On the other side of the 50pf coin, the date of issue is shown against the triangle and stars that are part of the national Bosnian flag. The triangle theme is repeated on both sides of the coin with a single triangle on the left and the right outer edge of each face.
